Paul Orsak
CEO and Founder
Ask Paul about his passions and you’ll learn why it is imperative for the today’s enterprise to change the user interface paradigm, to find new means of visualization to make logistics software more effective by connecting with users. His extensive work with logistics and software has brought to light that the steep learning curve for enterprise software is eroding profitability. Paul is continually pursuing innovative ways to leverage expanding computing power for the benefit of the bottom line.
Paul has 20+ years in Supply Chain software research, development, and implementation. His successful track record includes executive positions with FedEx, J.D. Edwards (Oracle), Accenture, and Nextjet Technologies. Paul has led teams in developing winning logistics software across several industries. His leadership has been vital to the development of web architectures for the coming decades. And Paul’s deep and expansive experience has made him a subject matter expert in Transportation and Logistics.
Paul currently serves on Southern Methodist University's Executive Engineering board, in
Dallas, Texas. He has also served on the board of directors for Unified Digital Corporation and has been a panelist and member of various e-commerce forums including the Center for Research in Electronic Commerce and The Research Board. He earned a Bachelor’s degree with honors in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Nilendu Jani, Ph.D.
President and Founder
Nilendu relishes the challenge of hard mission-critical problems. z! Series is imprinted with his deep drive to conceptualize intricate problems and arrange them in ways that remove the complexity. He continuously pushes the ZMS team towards clarity in synthesizing comprehensive systems that are simple and usable when applied to real life problems.
Nilendu has 20+ years of extensive experience in real-time decision support for transportation and logistics, and supply chain planning and execution. His prior company ICONOCI Inc., invented and implemented an innovative approach to solving complex real-time optimization problems using partitioning across clustered non-specialized machines. Nilendu has pioneered several logistics based solutions, including advanced consolidated route and rate planning for the freight forwarding and third-party logistics industries, tactical and strategic inventory planning for manufacturers and distributors, and intelligent fulfillment planning for retailers. His past tenures include Nextjet Technologies, SABRE/American Airlines and i2 Technologies.
Nilendu has served on the Industry Advisory Council for the Department of Computer Science Engineering of University of Texas at Arlington. He holds a Doctorate in Mathematical Sciences, a Masters in Computer Science from
University
of
Texas
at Arlington, and a Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering from
Gujarat University, India.
